Chris Daskalos is the M&E Content Protection Lead for aspides, managing and delivering engagements from start to finish to strengthen M&E industry vendor content protection programs.
Prior to aspides, Chris worked as a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant based in Los Angeles where he was responsible for conducting privacy and security risk assessments, social engineering campaigns, and security architecture reviews. Chris also conducted digital forensic acquisitions and analysis on laptops, desktops, network servers, and cell phones in relation to internal investigations, incident response efforts, and in civil, criminal, and regulatory matters.
Chris has hands on experience with the leading security and risk assessment methodologies. He is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University where he earned a M.S. in information Security Policy and Management, as well as the University of Southern California where he completed a B.S. and a minor in Applied Computer Security. Chris also holds various security certifications including the CISSP, CIPT, GCFE, GCIH, and TPN Assessor.
Chris also volunteers as the Technology Director for the Los Angeles Chapter of ISSA (Information Systems Security Association) working to host monthly security meetings and an annual conference drawing over 800 attendees.
